Charlotte Katakuri was introduced into the One Piece story as an antagonist in the Whole Cake Island arc. He is considered the backbone of the Big Mom Pirates and the one person they all look up to whenever they need anything.
One of Big Mom's many children, Katakuri is extremely powerful and stood in Luffy's way as an obstacle that Luffy had to overcome to become the Pirate King. He has great importance in the story and will certainly be more relevant in the future.

10 / When It Was First Introduced
Katakuri was a very important figure in theWhole Cake Island arc of One Piece and was therefore introduced during the main act of this arc. In the manga, he made his debut just before the Tea Party, in One Piece Chapter 860, where he turned Jigra with one of his jelly beans.
In the anime, Katakuri was teased long before the Tea Party in One Piece episode 825, where he finally arrived at the Whole Cake Chateau in preparation for the wedding and the Tea Party.

9/ What is its position in the crew
Katakuri is undoubtedly the most important member of the Big Mom Pirates after the Yonko herself. Being one of the strongest members of the crew, he is a member of the Sweet Commanders of Big Mom and is known to be the strongest of the group.
Despite this, his authority is equal to that of Smoothie and Cracker. Nevertheless, he tends to take charge of the situation more often than the others, as seen in the arc several times.
8/ Where He Was Born
Charlotte Katakuri was not born in Totland. He was born 48 years ago, on November 25, at a time when Big Mom may have been on the sea with the Rocks Pirates, probably sailing the waters of the Grand Line.
According to the information that the Living Card gives about Katakuri, he was born on a certain ship, far from Totland. However, he returned to Totland at a fairly young age, as we see in his short flashback in One Piece Chapter 902.
7/ What Is The Story Behind Her Scars
Charlotte Katakuri is known to have scars on each side of her mouth that go all the way to her ears. Unfortunately, how he got them was not mentioned in the anime or manga. However, the Vivre Card made sure that these scars were explained to the fans.
According to what was mentioned there, Katakuri accidentally tore his mouth at the age of 5 by stuffing too many doughnuts in his mouth at once.
6/ What Is The Reason Behind The Scarf
As seen throughout most of the Whole Cake Island arc, Charlotte Katakuri covers her mouth with a scarf. Initially, it was assumed that he was unsure of his appearance for some reason, however, at the end of his fight with Luffy, it was revealed that he did so to protect his family.
Because of his appearance, Katakuri's family was often abused by bullies and one day, after Brulee was severely injured, he chose to hide all his imperfections and become the perfect big brother that all enemies fear.

5/ What is his profession and residence
Charlotte Katakuri has become a man and is Minister of Flour in the Big Mom Pirates. He lives on the island of Komugi, which is one of many that belong to the country of Totland.
What Katakuri does as the Minister of Flour is almost never highlighted in the series. His role as one of the Sweet Commanders and Big Mom's most powerful subordinate receives much more emphasis in the Whole Cake Island arc.
4/ How much does his bonus cost
Charlotte Katakuri has a huge bounty on her head and it was first revealed to fans at the Tea Party in the Whole Cake Island arc. It is known to have a bounty of 1,057,000,000 berry which at the time was the highest known figure in history.
This is especially impressive since Katakuri doesn't leave Whole Cake Island often. The crew had fighters like Tamago and Pekoms that they would send out on missions. If Katakuri had been more notorious, his bounty would probably have been much higher.
3/ What Is Its Devil's Fruit Power
Like most members of the Big Mom Pirates, Katakuri also had a power related to food. Katakuri is known to be able to create, manipulate and transform into Mochi at will. This Devil Fruit power is quite similar to Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi, but in some cases it is better, while in others it is worse.
Nevertheless, this power is quite incredible and has made him a force to be reckoned with in the One Piece world.
2/ Why His Devil's Fruit Is Special
Mochi Mochi no Mi from Katakuri is not like the other devil fruits that have been introduced in the series so far. In fact, it is the rarest devil fruit of all. Although originally considered a Logia type, Katakuri's Mochi Mochi no Mi is a special Paramecia.
The reason it is called special is due to its ability to act like a Logia even though it is not one. Katakuri's devil fruit allows her to create, control, and become Mochi herself to gain intangibility, making her a Paramecia with the advantages of a Logia type.

Although he has a rather special devil fruit and has enormous physical strength, Katakuri still has a ploy up his sleeve, and that is his future sight observation Haki.
