⛩ Guts known as "The Black Swordsman" , is a former mercenary and trademark wanderer who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and maintaining his attachments to those he holds dear.

As for his equipment, Guts fights with a gigantic sword called the Dragonslayer. It was forged by Godo, a legendary blacksmith who created the weapon for an ancient king who wanted to defeat a dragon. But the blade was so huge that no warrior in the kingdom was able to handle it.
