⛩ Brook, nicknamed Brook the Hummer, is the musician and second swordsman of the Straw Hat Crew. He's a living skeleton they met aboard a ghost ship after finding a mysterious barrel drifting on the ocean. A Demon Fruit user, he has the powers of the Fruit of Resurrection. He is an undead who has come back to life in a state of pseudo-immortality thanks to the powers of this fruit. Brook is the long-awaited musician Luffy has wanted since the beginning of his adventures, and has mentioned several times throughout the series.

He was once a member of the Rumbar Crew, and was appointed to captain the rest of the crew after Captain Yorki divided it up to save the survivors from an illness. Brook is particularly close to the whale Laboon, whom he has vowed to see again in his second life.

During the ellipse, he becomes famous in the music world as the "Soul King", and performs his last concert at the Sabaody Archipelago, where he joins his companions to leave for the New World. He is obsessed with young girls in general, as is Sanji, and regularly asks to see their panties when he meets them.

Brook's first bounty was 33,000,000. Then his bonus rose to 83,000,000. After the events of the Wa Country Arc, his bounty is now 383,000,000.
