⛩ Zeref Dragnir or more commonly known as Zeleph Dragnir, nicknamed the Black Mage, is a Mage using Black Magic. He is known as the most powerful and evil mage of all time. He is responsible for the creation of demons such as the Lullaby, Deliora, as well as the transformation of the dragon hunter Acnologia into a true dragon, according to Colonel Arcadios. He is supposed to have lived more than 400 years ago, but he appears on the Island of Tenrô, the sacred island where Mavis Vermillion's tomb is located, in the guise of a young man in his twenties, having acquired eternal youth and immortality. He is the older brother of Natsu Dragnir. He is also the Emperor of the Kingdom of Arbaless. He calls himself Emperor Spriggan. He is the main antagonist of the Arbaless Arc and indirectly of the entire series alongside Acnologia.
