⛩ Before the story began, Leone Abbacchio had ambitions to become a policeman. But, he soon realized that the race against crime in Naples was futile, as criminals bribed judges and juries to clear their names. One night he saw a pimp and a prostitute, wanting to arrest them, the pimp bribed him with money and left. Some time later, Abbacchio and his partner arrive at a crime scene where the same pimp has robbed an apartment and killed a woman. When Leone meets him, the latter tells him, while drawing his revolver, that he cannot kill him because of his bribe and fires a shot that kills his teammate who had just arrived at the crime scene. After this case, Abbacchio leaves the police and becomes a member of Passione, and so he meets Giorno afterwards.
