⛩ Ryûk is a god of Death who is very tall with limbs that are oversized in relation to his body. His shoulders are covered with black feathers under which his wings, also black as ebony, are hidden.

Ryûk is particularly curious and hates to be bored, which often leads him to visit humans and drop his Death Note to find some entertainment. He's also a fairly insightful Death god is very prankish.

He will be throughout most of the series with Light Yagami to whom he bequeathed a Death Note.
