⛩ Orihime Inoue is a human living in Karakura. She is a student at Karakura High School, where she is in the class of Ichigo Kurosaki, and her best friend, Tatsuki Arisawa. Orihime often heals enemies, because she doesn't like to see anyone suffer.

Orihime's spiritual energy was housed in the pair of hairpins she received from her brother. Shun Shun Rikka appeared in the form of six spirits. She has four techniques that use the spirits in combination with a spiritual chant and the name of the technique. Only spiritually aware beings can see them. They reside in her hair clips, which are shaped like six-petaled flowers, each fairy being two points on a given clip when inactive.

Through various combinations of the six fairies, Orihime has the power to reject fate by denying or canceling events in various forms. This power can be used for attack, defense or healing (depending on the combination). Orihime's determinations directly influence the effectiveness of her powers. Feelings such as doubt or worry weaken them, while conviction makes them stronger.
