⛩ Yasutora Sado, also called Chad by his close friends, is a teenager living in Karakura Town. A student at Karakura Town High School, he's also in the same class as Ichigo and has known him since junior high.

Despite his rugged appearance, he's a gentle boy and a very good student. He loves cute, classy things like Kon, Ichigo's cuddly toy. He only uses his phenomenal strength to defend others, not himself. He's not much of a talker.

Chad acquires his power the day he saves Karin Kurosaki, one of Ichigo's little sisters, from a Hollow while she was playing soccer. Thinking of his Abuelo (Grandfather), who had once told him that he had great protective power within him, that he should save his friends and also think of saving himself, a red and black armature appears on his right arm, strengthening him and helping him to strike his enemies and even kill Hollows (Brazo derecha del gigante). Later, the same armature appears on his left arm, this time in red and white (Brazo izquierda del diablo).
