The Blue Super Saiyan, (originally named Divine Super Saiyan before the name change), is a new evolution of the Divine Super Saiyan, appearing in the movie Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection of 'F' and in the second arc of the Dragon Ball Super series. Son Goku and Vegeta reach this form after successfully absorbing and assimilating the powers of Divine Super Saiyan by training with Whis to master them.

This new form is similar to the Divine Super Saiyan, but the hair is blue and spiky, like the classic Super Saiyan. In addition, the muscle volume becomes normal again and corresponds to a transformation from Divine Super Saiyan to Super Saiyan.
